Salma Hayek (2nd September, 1966) is also known as the first Mexican national who was nominated for the category of the Best Actress for the Oscars. Her role in the movie, ‘Teresa’ catapulted her to fame as an actress in Mexico. She got her much-needed break with ‘Desperado’ in 1995. She also achieved success due to films such as ‘Wild Wild West’, ‘Fools Rush In’, ‘Frida’ etc.
